There was significant diversity among the indictments handed down by the latest Grand Jury. But the two that received the highest bonds were co-defendants in a drug trafficking case.

Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold continued the $500,000 bonds for Dustin Nolan and Cardale Davis that were set in Municipal Court. Nolan is charged with two counts of drug trafficking, third- and fourth-degree felonies, as well as fifth-degree drug possession. Davis is charged with third- and fourth-degree trafficking. Those charges allegedly involve cocaine and heroin with a bump in the severity of the charges because they are alleged to have occurred in the vicinity of a juvenile.

If convicted on all charges and given consecutive sentences, Nolan could serve 66 months in prison. Davis could serve 54 months.

Acting on County Prosecutor Matthew Crall’s recommendation, the judge set bond for Shane Cameron at $200,000. Cameron was indicted on charges of illegal conveyance of an illegal substance into a detention facility which is a third-degree felony and fifth-degree possession of cocaine.

Though Matthew Burchett is already in prison, he appeared before Leuthold on a new drug possession charge, which allegedly occurred on Dec. 3, 2015 – a month before he was sentenced to prison. As Burchett will not finish his current sentence until July, Leuthold issued a personal recognizance bond for him.

Twelve people in all were arraigned Monday. They are, along with the charges from indictments by the Grand Jury and their bond amounts: Shane Cameron, F3 illegal conveyance and F5 drug possession ($200,000); Jeffrey Nichols Jr., F4 disrupting public service, ($25,000); Jason Henney, F3 having weapons under disability ($250,000); Dustin Nolan, F3 drug trafficking, F4 drug trafficking, and F5 drug possession ($500,000); Kim Fox, F3 illegal conveyance, misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia ($150,000); Ashley Treisch, F3 illegal conveyance, ($150,000); Tina Rotermund, F5 drug possession, ($50,000); Cardale Davis, F3 drug trafficking and F4 drug trafficking, ($500,000); James Shope Jr., F5 drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments ($100,000); Tony Chatman, F5 failure to support minor children (personal recognizance bond); Tiffany Moore-Lowe, F3 domestic violence ($25,000); Matthew Burchett, F5 drug possession (personal recognizance).
