ONTARIO, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A 22-year-old Lexington man died Sunday morning following a single-vehicle crash in a Walmart parking lot in Ontario, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers from the Mansfield Post were called at approximately 8:55 a.m. Sunday to investigate the crash.
According to state troopers, Max Longwell, 22, of Lexington, was driving a black 2023 Chevrolet Malibu through the parking lot when the vehicle struck a block retaining wall.
Longwell was transported to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The Ontario Police Department and Laurence’s Towing assisted troopers at the scene.
