CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)The Crestline Historical Society is set for a busy fall with multiple community events and projects.

The society will participate in the popular Lincoln Highway Byway Sale on Thursday, August 7, and Friday, August 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, featuring donated items and lunch. Additionally, the Historical Society Museum will be open during the Crestline Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In ongoing projects, a new mural on Cross Carpet’s north wall, a collaboration with the Community Development Team, is complete, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to be announced. The Historical Society is also working with the Crawford County History Alliance to develop a county-wide history website and will plant an oak tree at Heckert Preserve in October as part of the Ohio 250 initiative.
