BUCYRUS, OH—New charges have emerged in connection with a shooting that took place in Bucyrus last March. The incident occurred on Friday, March 15, when the Bucyrus Police Department responded to a call at 817 South Highland Ave regarding a shooting.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers found the body of 28-year-old Guilianno Yamani inside the clubhouse, which is commonly used by the Outlaw Bikers group.
Yamani, a member of the Outlaws, had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
At the time of the incident, Zachary Cole, 28, of Bucyrus, was arrested for tampering with evidence and charged with a third-degree felony.
He posted a $150,000 bond following his arrest. Recently, Cole was indicted by the Crawford County Grand Jury on a charge of reckless homicide, also a third-degree felony.
Reckless homicide is a serious crime that involves the perpetrator being aware that their actions create a significant risk of death or serious bodily harm to the victim, yet they ignore the risk and continue their actions.
Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold maintained Cole’s $150,000 bond.
If convicted of reckless homicide, Cole could face up to 36 months in prison. He is being represented by Mansfield Attorney James Mayer III.
