On Friday, Jan. 8, Brianna Rankins held a fundraiser for Bike for Tikes at the American Legion Post 181.
Bike for Tikes is a part of Dance Marathon, an event where students raise money for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Bowling Green State University students are raising money for Mercy Children’s Hospital in Toledo. A group of 150 students will ride their bikes from Cincinnati to Bowling Green as part of Bike for Tikes. The students will bike 180 miles in three days.
Brianna is a sophomore at BGSU and this will be her second year to participate in the ride. To participate the rider must raise at least $450. Donations can be made in Brianna’s name at http://events.dancemarathon.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=72530
