PORT CLINTON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A local couple has faced justice for their involvement in a series of heinous sex crimes against children. Jason Schlipf, 36, and Kati Schlipf, 37, have pleaded guilty to a total of 25 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor or impaired person, as well as one attempted charge of the same nature.

The Ottawa County Major Crimes Unit initiated the investigation after receiving a tip from the Tiffin Police Department about suspected child sexual abuse material being disseminated on an online platform.
On May 2, law enforcement executed a search warrant at the couple’s residence on Cedar Street in Port Clinton, where they seized several electronic devices for forensic analysis.
Prosecutors detailed that the Schlipfs allegedly engaged in the downloading and reproduction of child sexual abuse material multiple times from March 2024 until their arrest in April 2025.
Kati Schlipf was sentenced to seven years in prison on November 24, while Jason Schlipf is set to learn his fate during a sentencing scheduled for January 5.
