Crawford County Sheriff’s Office executes narcotic search warrant in Bucyrus

BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On November 22, 2023, at 8:40 AM, the Crawford County Special Response Team, in collaboration with the Sheriff’s Office and METRICH, executed a narcotic search warrant at 327 West Warren St. in Bucyrus.

The search warrant was obtained following an investigation into a drug trafficking complaint. The Bucyrus Police Department and the Crawford County dog warden provided assistance during the operation.

The primary subjects of the investigation were identified as Christopher Johnson, 44, and Whitney Johnson, 32, Christopher Johnson will be facing charges of trafficking in drugs, while Whitney Johnson will be charged with permitting drug abuse and possession of drugs.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office will be submitting a comprehensive report to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for further evaluation and consideration of additional charges.
