Agencies and organizations who work with children and families are invited to participate in the Info Fair at the annual Back-to-School-Supply Carnival on Thursday, August 1 at Bucyrus United Methodist Church.

In the past, over 300 families attended the carnival. More are expected this year as students from all elementary schools in Crawford County are being included. The purpose of the carnival is to distribute free school supplies to K-6 children from all the county schools. It also features free games, prizes, refreshments, entertainment and the Info Fair.

Tables and display space are available free of charge to organizations wanting to educate and inform families of their services. Agencies serving any community in the county are invited. The committee especially encourages those in Galion, Crestline, and New Washington to take part.

Participants already signed up for this year’s Carnival include: Bucyrus Police and Fire Departments, Crawford County Sheriff’s DARE program, Lifestar Ambulance Service, Bucyrus City Schools, Community Counseling, WIC, Red Cross, Bucyrus Public Library, The Gideons, Bucyrus Community Hospital, King’s Kids, Together We Hurt/Together We Heal, and Help Me Grow.

To reserve space, or for more information, contact Carnival Chair Randy Garrett at 419-562-0392 or 419-561-7139.
