The Crawford County Board of Elections has received the absentee ballots for the Aug. 6 Special Election. That election has just one issue – a Galion City School District levy.

Registered voters in the Galion City School District may exercise their option of voting by absentee ballot by coming into the Board of Elections during the regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. They may also request a ballot by mail by writing to the Board of Elections stating their current address, where the ballot should be mailed to, date of birth and the last four digits of their Social Security number or driver’s license number, and the date of the election.

The Board of Elections will be open until 6 p.m. on Aug. 2 to accommodate in-person absentee voters. Those with questions may contact the Board of Elections at 419-562-8721.
