BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Emergency crews were called to the Copper Kettle building on S. Walnut Street on Friday morning following reports of a structure fire.
The Bucyrus Fire Department responded to the scene, receiving support from the Holmes Township Fire Department. According to reports, firefighters were able to contain the fire to the building’s attic area. Bucyrus Copper Kettle Works is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Crawford County Now will provide further updates as additional information becomes available.
