GALIONꟷA Galion man was arrested when Galion Police were called to investigate a domestic dispute in the 700 block of South Boston Street.
Carl A. Ginter was arrested on a charge of domestic violence at 6:58 p.m. on Monday.

12:05 a.m.-Officers assisted at the scene of a dryer fire at EZ Clean Laundromat.
3:32 a.m.-Officers checked an open door at a residence that had also been egged in the 300 block of Carmel Avenue.
5:19 a.m.-Derek E. Amert Jr. was issued a citation for speeding in the 200 block of Mansfield Street.
5:28 a.m.-A Charles Street resident reported receiving threatening phone calls.
6:17 a.m.-Clay M. Heminger was issued a citation for speeding on Mansfield Street.
6:28 a.m.-A report of loud music in the 200 block of North Market Street was investigated. One person was issued a verbal warning for loud music.
6:47 .m.-Orrantia R. Castro was issued a citation for driving without a valid license on Ohio 309 near Gelsanliter Road.
9:49 a.m.-A two-vehicle accident was investigated on Portland Way South. Injuries were reported.
11:08 a.m.-A welfare check on a juvenile was conducted in the 300 block of South Market Street and the juvenile was fine.
11:25 a.m.-A report of juveniles shoplifting items from Duke and Duchess was investigated.
2:51 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of West Summit Street and the person was fine.
3:24 p.m.-A resident in the 800 block of Sunnyside Drive reported that someone in a gray Dodge Caravan hit their mailbox then left the scene.
4:31 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.
5:05 p.m.-A report of someone inside a vacant house in the 1200 block of McClure Street was investigated.
5:52 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of North Market Street.
8:12 p.m.-A parking violation was investigated in the 300 block of South Boston Street.
9:26 p.m.-An Orchard Court resident reported someone wearing all black banged on the windows of their residence.
10:15 p.m.-A report of road rage was investigated in the Ohio 309 area.
11:37 p.m.-A Second Avenue resident reported someone was attempting to break into their vehicle.
