GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) — Halloween takes on a historic twist this October when one of Galion’s favorite family traditions returns to Brownella Cottage.
The Galion History Center will host Trick-or-Treat After Dark from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, inviting families to make the historic Brownella Cottage part of their Halloween festivities.
As darkness settles in, children can explore a spookily decorated Brownella Cottage while making their way through the historic home and stopping at candy stations along the route. The event offers families a fun way to enjoy the Halloween season while experiencing one of Galion’s historic landmarks in a different light.
The event is free and family-friendly, making it an easy addition to an evening of Halloween activities throughout the community.
Candy for the event is generously sponsored by Park National Bank. Families can also enjoy sweet treats and drinks from A&M Donut Wagon, which will be on hand during the evening.
With costumes, candy and a historic setting, Trick-or-Treat After Dark promises an evening of Halloween fun for local families.
Mark the calendar for Saturday, Oct. 24, and plan to stop by Brownella Cottage between 7 and 9 p.m. for an after-dark Halloween experience hosted by the Galion History Center.
