OLD FORT, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Old Fort High School volleyball team swept Seneca East in straight sets to improve its overall record to 13–3 on the season.
Old Fort is currently ranked No. 8 in Division IV, with all three of its losses coming against state-ranked opponents, including a narrow five-set loss to No. 5 Norwalk St. Paul.
Head Coach Erin Rau praised senior leaders Abby and Lucy for driving the team’s standard, humorously noting that despite being two of the shortest right-side hitters in the state, their court awareness and athleticism set them apart.
As the postseason approaches, the players are focusing on closing out late-game sets and improving on-court communication. Old Fort now prepares for a key conference rivalry match against Tiffin Calvert.
