GALION―Galion Police pursued a Bucyrus man in a high-speed chase that began in Galion at Burger King on Wednesday at 9:05 p.m.
Michael E. Campbell was arrested on multiple charges, including operating a vehicle under the influence, driving under suspension and operating a vehicle without a license in Bucyrus after the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Bucyrus Police assisted in the pursuit that ended on East Rensselaer Street near Wiley Street in Bucyrus.

9:28 a.m.-A McClure Street resident reported their neighbor’s vehicle rolled out of gear and hit their vehicle while it was parked on the street. The neighbor then left the area. Officers took a report and left a note for the neighbor to contact them.
10:08 a.m.-An employee at the Bell Store reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.
12:27 p.m.-A report was taken about a dispute between an employee and management regarding the stay at home order.
12:29 p.m.-A Baehr Street resident reported that a bus backed out of a driveway and hit their parked vehicle before leaving the scene.
12:32 p.m.-A report of kids throwing rocks and sticks at a van in the 600 block of Harding Way East was investigated.
2:40 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel with a person who had fallen in the 600 block of South Market Street.
6:06 p.m.-A report of loud music at a business that is closed due to the pandemic in the 100 block of Harding Way East was investigated and the situation was taken care of.
6:21 p.m.-A report of kids playing on the playground equipment at Heise Park was investigated. The kids were advised to stay off the equipment due to the governor’s order.
7:55 p.m.-Brock Christensen was issued a citation for no plates on his vehicle. Hensley’s Towing Service towed the vehicle from the scene in the Cherry Street area.
8:05 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated in the McClure Street.
10:37 p.m.-An Eighth Avenue resident reported their vehicle stolen by two people they know.
