The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Bucyrus Police Department were kept busy with arrests Wednesday.

Deputies arrested Ronnie Jacobs of Mansfield and Brandon Saum of Bellville late Wednesday night. Deputies charged Jacobs with theft and Saum with criminal trespassing, falsification and obstructing official business. Both men are being held for court.

Sheriff’s deputies also arrested Jimmy A. Byers, Jr. of Galion Wednesday morning for failure to report to jail on OVI and driving under suspension charges. Byers was taken to jail where he will 311 days.

Bucyrus police arrested Christopher L. Grasley and Heather Grasley Wednesday evening and charged with theft after officers responded to a report of the theft of flowers from the CalvaryBaptistChurch. The property was returned to the church.

Lucas Blankenship of New Washington was arrested in Bucyrus for disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was booked and released. Officers arrested John Hensley of Bucyrus later that evening for shoplifting at Walmart. He was released pending a court appearance.
