MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Building on the success of last year’s inaugural exhibition, the Mansfield Public Art Commission (MPAC) and the Mansfield Richland County Public Library are proud to announce the return of The Mayor’s Show: Rising Artists of Mid-Ohio.

The dedicated gallery space, located in the 2nd-floor lobby of the Main Library, continues to serve as a vital hub for local talent. Following its successful debut in 2025, the space remains under the coordination of MPAC to ensure high-quality public art is accessible to the entire community.

This year’s exhibition once again features the top award winners from Artapolooza, the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center’s annual student art show. These emerging artists were hand-selected to showcase their winning works in a professional gallery setting. Regarding the show, Mansfield City’s Mayor, Jodie A. Perry states, “It is always wonderful to see the talent of our local youth at the Mayor’s Show in May. This has grown to be a wonderful partnership with the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library and Mansfield Public Art Commission. I encourage everyone to stop in to see this exhibit!”
