BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—First Federal Community Bank has launched a new online fraud resource center designed to help area residents recognize and prevent evolving financial scams.

The digital hub, accessible to the public at ffcb.com, features interactive risk assessment quizzes tailored for senior citizens, Generation X, and Generation Z. Visitors can also utilize an interactive “Is This a Scam?” tool to evaluate suspicious communications and potential fraud scenarios.

Kate Volk, representing First Federal Community Bank during an appearance on Community Spotlight, emphasized that the educational tools are free and accessible to both bank customers and non-customers.

“We know people are constantly being targeted by scams and looking for trustworthy financial information,” Volk said. “This page gives our customers a simple place to find fraud prevention tools, educational resources, and guidance when they need it most.”

In addition to individual resources, First Federal Community Bank collaborates with local financial institutions and the Chamber of Commerce through the Crawford County Fraud Alert Network to track and share real-time information on emerging scam tactics across the county.
