Press release

Winter not only means it’s the holiday season, but it is also time for the annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count.

The Crawford Park District is taking part in the world’s longest running citizen science efforts by collecting data on bird populations. Those who wish to participate as field counters should meet naturalist Warren Uxley at the Bucyrus Bob Evans, 1517 N. Sandusky Ave., at 7 a.m. on Jan. 2.

If you would like to count birds at your feeder, contact the Crawford Park District office at 419-683-9000 to see if you are located within the district’s count circle.
