WYANDOT COUNTY – On Friday, November 20, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit and the Wyandot County Special Response Team (SRT) served a residential search warrant at 308 West Franklin Street Wharton. Detectives located methamphetamine, prescription medication, and other controlled substances in the residence.
Five people were detained during the service of the warrant which included 3 adult females, 1 adult male, and a male juvenile. Two of the adult females had misdemeanor warrants and the adult male who was identified as Kenny J. White, age 20 had a felony warrant out of Hardin County. Kenny White was incarcerated at the Multi-County County Jail. Following a 5-week investigation, Detectives learned that the people occupying 308 West Franklin Street Wharton, were actively engaged in trafficking of drugs. This led to a search warrant being requested and granted. Evidence removed from the residence was submitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for analysis prior to charges being filed.
This investigation was a joint effort by the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit, the METRICH Enforcement Unit and the Wyandot County Prosecutor’s Office.
