BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments for July.

Todd W. Allen, 56, of Shelby was indicted on a third-degree felony charge of illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility or institution. He will be represented by Brian Gernert. Bond was set at $100,000.

Eric Betzold, 29, of Fostoria was charged with a second-degree felony charge of burglary. Attorney Grant Garverick was appointed to represent Betzold and bond was set at $100,000.

Given Corwin, 20, of Mansfield was indicted on a third- and fourth-degree charge of trafficking in drugs. He is represented by attorney Bob Whitney. Bond was set at $100,000.

Justin Caskey, 20, of Bucyrus was indicted on a third-degree charge of intimidation, a second-degree misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and a second-degree misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business. Brad Starkey was appointed to the case. Bond was set at $75,000.

The July grand jury resulted in 32 cases served with 91 charges filed. Fourteen cases remain unserved with a total of 30 charges.
