CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) – The Crestline Historical Society has announced a busy late-summer schedule of community events, fundraisers, and educational programming in Crawford County.
The society will kick off its late-summer outreach at Crestline’s First Friday event on Friday, Aug. 7, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., hosting an informational table alongside the Crawford County History Alliance. Representatives will be selling raffle tickets for the society’s ongoing fundraiser, featuring gift cards and donated community items, with top prizes including $200 in local grocery gift cards. Ticket sales will continue through the Crestline Harvest Festival, Sept. 17–19, where winning numbers will be drawn Saturday evening.
On Thursday, Aug. 13, the historical museum will participate in the annual Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum will open its doors for public tours while offering duplicate historical items and donated goods for sale to support society operations.
Looking ahead to autumn, the society is collaborating with the Crestline Community Development Team on a second downtown mural project and will resume its “Third Sunday” speaker series on Sept. 20 with historical presenter Eric Ebinger examining America’s founding fathers.
