BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Summer heat will take hold across Crawford County this week as temperatures climb into the 90s and humidity pushes heat index values into the triple digits through Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, a Heat Advisory is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday evening as dangerously hot conditions develop across north central Ohio. Residents are encouraged to limit strenuous outdoor activities, stay hydrated and check on vulnerable family members and neighbors.

Monday: Mostly sunny and hot with a high near 89. Heat index values could reach 95 degrees. South wind 5 to 9 mph.
Monday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 74. South wind around 8 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny and hotter with a high near 94. Heat index values may reach 102 degrees. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph.
Tuesday night: Clear with a low around 75. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny and dangerously hot with a high near 95. Heat and humidity will create hazardous conditions for anyone spending extended time outdoors.
Wednesday night: Clear with a low around 74.
Thursday: Sunny and very hot with a high near 96. Humid conditions continue under dangerous afternoon heat.
Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 75.
Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95. A 40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms could provide some relief from the heat later in the day.
