Kindergarten registration for the Bucyrus City School District is now open. Parents interested in enrolling their child for the 2014-2015 school year should do so throughout the month of March; any child five-years-old on or before Aug. 1, 2014 is eligible to apply.
Parents may register one of two ways:
- Complete and return the kindergarten registration form, found in the Bucyrus Elementary School office or on the Elementary School webpage located at www.bucyrusschools.org.
- Call the elementary school at 419-562-6089, 419-562-3224 or 419-562-9081 and provide the student’s complete name, date of birth and other relevant information.
Please note that any information must be submitted to the school Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Children entering school for the first time must be screened for hearing, vision, speech and communication, other health or medical conditions and developmental delays. Kindergarten screening for the 2014-2015 school year will be held June 10, 11 and 12, 2014. Proof of residence, birth certificate, and immunization (shots) records should be brought on the day of the screening.
