MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— A drug investigation in Mansfield led to the seizure of more than $84,000 in cash, two firearms and other items investigators described as consistent with drug trafficking.
The METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a drug-related search warrant Wednesday, Sept. 23, at a residence on Glenbeck Lane, with assistance from the Mansfield Police Department.

According to METRICH, detectives seized $84,510 in cash, along with a shotgun, a rifle and additional items during the search.
The task force identified three people in photographs released with its announcement: Cy Ison, 24; Belinda Williams, 64; and Kevin Williams, 67. METRICH said the individuals involved in the investigation live at the residence.
No arrests or criminal charges were announced in connection with the search.
Instead, investigators said they plan to seek charges after the investigation is completed. The case remains ongoing, according to METRICH.
The seizure of the cash and firearms is part of an investigation being conducted by METRICH, a 10-county task force that works with law enforcement agencies across north-central Ohio to investigate illegal drug and weapons activity.
Authorities did not provide additional details about the suspected drug activity or explain what specific items seized during the search were considered consistent with drug trafficking.
