Motorists in Bucyrus are being warned to keep their eyes open and be prepared for some minor detours over the next several days.
West Mary Street will be closed from North Sandusky Avenue to Poplar Street today from 7 this morning until approximately 1 o’clock this afternoon while a fire hydrant is replaced. On October 14, 15 and 16 the marquee at the old theater on South Sandusky Avenue will be removed. Traffic and parking may be restricted at times in that area.
Elsewhere in the county the eastbound driving lane of U.S. 30, just west of the CSX railroad underpass, is closed for work as part of a slide repair project. One lane of U.S. 30 eastbound will be maintained at all times. The project is expected to be complete in May 2014.
