Two local young women were among the Ohio State Fair scholarship recipients named as winners in the Ohio Expositions Commission scholarship program.
Aryn Copeland, a graduate of Wynford High School, and Taylor Lutz, a graduate of Colonel Crawford were among those named. Each received a $1,000 scholarship – Copeland as a poultry exhibitor and Lutz as a beef exhibitor.

Lutz was the 2016 Crawford County Junior Fair Queen and Copeland was first runner-up. Copeland is playing in the All-Ohio State Fair Band for the fourth straight summer.
The purpose of these scholarships is to assist high school juniors and seniors (2015-2016) and graduates who are continuing their education at an accredited institution in an undergraduate course of study in any field.
