The Buckeye Central Buckettes’ season ended last night at the Division IV district tournament game at Seneca East High School.
Buckeye Central was defeated by Tiffin Calvert 66-56. The Buckettes, finishing the season with a 16-8 record, were led in scoring by Jenna Karl with 18 points. Courtney Pifher added 15 and Isabelle Biglin put up 10.
Calvert’s Lindsay Buckley led all scorers with 23 points, Amber Perry added 16, and Taylor Ritzler 13 for the Senecas, who improved to 16-8 on the year.
Calvert will play for a district championship Saturday night at Seneca East High School.
