FOSTORIA (Crawford County Now) — Fostoria edged Bucyrus, 3-2, in a tennis match here Wednesday.
Bucyrus (0-5) swept the doubles matches. The first doubles team of Savannah Clark and Addie Weber downed Lilly Bernal and Hayley Edwards, 6-0, 6-1. Mya Rothhaar and Maci Messerschmidt defeated Bella Snouden and Aaliyah Campos by an identical 6-0, 6-1 score.
Fostoria took all three singles matches.
Morrigan Flinders topped Lily Engelhorn, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 in first singles. Briar Shaver edged Serenity Potts, 6-4, 6-3 in second singles, and Sophia Brose won third singles over Meelah Marshall, 6-0, 6-3.
The Lady Red return to action on Thursday, hosting Toledo Christian. Fostoria hosts Oak Harbor on Tuesday.
