MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Mansfield Division of Police is alerting motorists to expect significant traffic delays and temporary road closures this Saturday, August 15, 2026, due to the “Shawshank Hustle” race being held at the historic Ohio State Reformatory.

Authorities have outlined the following schedule for road closures and restrictions:

*   7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: The southbound lane of Olivesburg Road/State Route 545 will be closed between Reformatory Road and East Longview Avenue for the start of the race.

*   7:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Rolling closures will affect East Longview Avenue, North Main Street, North Walnut Street, North Park Street, North Diamond Street, and various cross streets between these roadways.

*   7:30 AM – 11:00 AM: The exit ramp for State Route 13/North Main Street/State Route 545 from eastbound U.S. 30 will be closed.

The areas expected to experience the most significant traffic congestion include North Main Street/State Route 13 between Park Avenue West and Longview Avenue; North Diamond Street between Park Avenue East and North Main Street; and downtown traffic on 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Streets. Olivesburg Road/State Route 545 between East Longview Avenue and Reformatory Road will also see heavy impacts.

Local motorists are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and utilize alternate routes to avoid potential delays during the morning hours on Saturday.
