BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Officials at North Central State College are encouraging students and employers to “start your future now” through expanded training programs and tuition-free opportunities at the Crawford County Success Center.
Nate Harvey, manager of the center, said new workforce initiatives include electrical motor control training, Microsoft Excel courses and leadership development for supervisors, along with college classes and high school partnerships offering certifications in fields such as robotics, 5G broadband and drone operation.
Admissions Director Dr. Laurie Jackson highlighted the college’s Tuition Freedom scholarships, which allow qualifying high school students to earn up to a full associate degree at no cost and provide adult learners with up to 18 credit hours to reskill or change careers.
Summer semester begins May 26, with staff emphasizing free applications, financial aid support, and a pathway that helps many graduates complete programs debt-free.
