TIFFIN, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A deeply disturbing incident on Huss Street has left the community reeling following three murders and a suicide.

The Tiffin Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and screams on November 19 around 6:24 p.m., where they discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Authorities have revealed that the tragic events unfolded as a mother attempted to retrieve her belongings from her home amid ongoing domestic issues.

She had made arrangements with Dustin Willey to assist her in the moving process while her husband, Ryan Eagon, was believed to be working out of town.

While the mother and Willey were inside gathering items, the couple’s two children, aged 7 years and 7 months, were outside near a vehicle.

Upon hearing the 7-year-old cry out, they checked their son, only to encounter Eagon in the driveway.

Witness statements and physical evidence suggest that Eagon confronted Willey, pushing past the mother and opening fire.

In a shocking turn, Eagon fatally shot both children before turning the gun on Willey.

He then took his own life with a single gunshot.

The mother tragically reported that she carried her injured children back into the house before law enforcement’s arrival. Willey was transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The 7-month-old and Eagon were pronounced dead at the scene, while the 7-year-old was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.

No shots were fired by law enforcement officers at the scene, and no personnel were injured during the incident. The mother was present throughout the ordeal and is being provided privacy in accordance with Marsy’s Law, which protects crime victims’ identities.

The Tiffin Police Department is leading the ongoing investigation with help from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Seneca County Coroner’s Office, with autopsies pending.

Chief David Pauly expressed the department’s acknowledgment of the tragedy’s extensive emotional toll on the families involved as well as first responders and the wider community. Steps are being taken to offer grief support and counseling resources for those affected.

No further identifying information about the children will be released, and updates will continue as the investigation unfolds.
