BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—In a heartfelt plea, a local resident is seeking assistance after her father-in-law lost the cherished whistle from his vintage Model A car. The whistle, which has sentimental value, was reportedly lost on Albright Road earlier Tuesday morning.

Lou Rossington’s father-in-law, Ronald Rossington, (who will turn 93 later this month), has a deep affection for his Model A, often driving it around the community.

This particular exhaust whistle was custom-made by Ron’s son, Howard, and carries significant emotional weight, especially as it was patented in 1912.

The family is appealing to anyone who may have come across the whistle to come forward, hoping to restore a piece of their loved one’s treasured memories.

If anyone finds the whistle or has picked it up, please reach out to Lou at 419-731-3965 to help reunite it with its rightful owner.

Having his beloved whistle reunited with his Model A could mean the world to this devoted vintage car enthusiast.
