MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)–The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (ESC) successfully hosted its Fall Administrative Conference on August 5, bringing together over 250 administrators from local school districts. The conference was designed to provide valuable insights and strategies to enhance administrative skills and support the educational community.

The event began with keynote addresses by Dr. Jim Mahoney and Dr. Daryl Michel. Dr. Mahoney, who has decades of experience in public education, shared stories that prompted reflection and laughter, inspiring leaders as they prepare for the new school year.

Dr. Michel focused on leadership theory and practices that produce positive results for students, with an emphasis on creating effective systems to support school improvement.

Following the keynotes, administrators attended various breakout sessions and a legal update from the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA). The conference served as a positive start to the 2025-2026 school year, promoting growth and collaboration among local educational leaders.

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides academic and support services to 13 school districts and more than 20,000 students in Crawford, Morrow, and Richland Counties.
