HURON TOWNSHIP, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)âA two-vehicle crash on State Route 2 in Huron Township early Sunday morning, July 27, 2025, resulted in serious injuries to one driver, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Sandusky Post.
The collision occurred around 1:37 a.m. near mile post 13 on SR 2 in Erie County.
Sean Mcgraw, 29, of Huron, Ohio, was driving a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on SR 2 when his vehicle veered onto the berm, striking the rear of a disabled 2012 Ford Fusion. The Fusion, driven by Brody Frye, 20, of Huron, Ohio, was parked on the berm due to mechanical issues.
Following the initial impact, both vehicles traveled off the roadway and overturned. Mcgraw, who was wearing a seatbelt, did not sustain any injuries.
Frye was ejected from his vehicle and suffered serious injuries. He was transported by air to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Huron Police Department, Huron Fire/EMS, Interstate Towing, and Sandusky Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
