MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—This holiday season North Central State College (NCSC) and the NCSC Foundation will provide area residents a gift that will keep on giving for years to come — education.
Vice president of the NCSC Foundation Chris Cooper shares, “Through the generosity of numerous donors, the Foundation can provide financial support for adult students who wish to pursue a one-year certificate. These online certificate programs are designed so that students can complete their studies in just one year, and right now the training is tuition free.”
The online certificates available include:
- Operations Management
- Supervision
- Certified Bookkeeper Business Analytics
- Manufacturing Foundations
- Windows Server Administration
- Microsoft Applications Network Security
- Information Security Analyst
- Substance Abuse Studies/CDCA
- Water Technology
The Foundation will cover the cost of tuition for these courses as a way of giving back to the community. Available only to area adults who are 25 years old or older, NCSC invites residents to apply now to secure a spot in one of these programs. Students must apply to North Central State College and complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The NCSC Foundation provides scholarships as well as additional resources for students who need assistance.
Dorey Diab, president of NCSC, acknowledges the impact the Foundation has on student success, “Student support from the Foundation is one of the many reasons three out of four students graduate from NC State without debt. This new initiative will provide graduates with in-demand skills that lead directly to jobs with area businesses.”
