GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—What could be more convenient than a bundle of themed books as a stocking stuffer that your family member or friend would love to read? That’s what the FRIENDS of the Galion Public Library has been thinking for the last four years, and it has helped many solve their gift-giving challenges.
“Our organization pretty much lives in a world of collecting and offering used books year-round, and we realized years ago that the holidays are the perfect time to offer bundles of gently used books with favorite subjects like romance, Westerns, cookbooks, various hobbies, religion, whodunnits… and on and on!” said Denise Iden-Koffel, president of the organization.
The book bundles are neatly ribboned together and ready for a stocking or a place under the tree. They are offered by donation at the Galion Public Library’s main floor reference table from November 25 through January 3.
