The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled a meeting for Monday, May 18 at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall. The Board is meeting to discuss a lot reconfiguration.
Duane Hartschuh, the owner of 127 Mary Street and 218 N. Poplar Street, would like to reconfigure the lots in order to accommodate the construction of a new garage. The request will restore a flag lot to nearly a rectangular lot; similar to other lots in this neighborhood. If this lot reconfiguration is approved by the Board of Zoning appeals and the Bucyrus City Planning Commission, then Hartschuh anticipates that the garage will meet the required development standards for the Urban Neighborhood Residential Zoning District.
