The Galion Police Department was busy this past week, making multiple unrelated arrests.

Twenty-two-year-old Drew Spiegener was arrested last Tuesday, July 23, as was twenty-five-year-old Gerard Davis Ashley, who was charged with domestic violence and knowingly causing physical harm.

On Wednesday, July 24th, thirty-two-year-old Golden G. Wilson was arrested and charged with OVI. Later that day, Wilson was arrested again for falsification of document authority by law. Also arrested on Wednesday was thirty-two-year-old Tabatha Roberts, who was charged with burglary and trespassing.

On Thursday, July 25th, thirty-one-year-old Michael George Shaw was arrested in Galion, as was forty-two-year-old Tracy A. Reeder, who was charged with assault.

Only one arrest was booked on Friday, July 26th; that of fifty-seven-year-old Debra L. Blackburn who was charged with theft.

On Saturday, July 27th, twenty-year-old Dallas G Damron was arrested and charged with underage consumption, as was Sean E. Twigg, also twenty. Twenty-seven-year-old Jennifer L. McCabe was arrested and charged with failure to appear and issuance of warrant, and forty-seven-year-old Michael P. Axline was charged with disorderly conduct after causing physical harm while intoxicated.

The rest of Galion’s reported arrests took place on Sunday, July 28th. Twenty-nine-year-old Brandi A. Heefner was charged with OVI, operating under FRA suspension, violating restriction, and improper turn/fail to signal. Twenty-two-year-old Brandon Scott Johnson was charged with failure to appear and issuance of warrant. Jeffery A. Petras, also twenty-two, was charged with marijuana drug paraphernalia and OVI. Finally, forty-eight-year-old Alan K. Randolph was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and OVI.

On Monday, July 29th in Bucyrus, forty-three-year-old Terry W. Chapman was arrested at 2:28 in the afternoon at his residence on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. Later that day, at 5:11 in the evening, twenty-six-year-old Adam Swerlein was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and theft. He was also taken to the Crawford County Just Center.

Finally, at 6:38 in the morning on Tuesday, July 30th, officers investigating a break-in and trespass at 24 Bucyrus Plaza arrested thirty-five-year-old Brad Villars. Villars has no permanent address and is being held for Wyandot County authorities.
