The Galion City Council meeting will be a day late this week due to Veterans Day observances, but it definitely won’t be a dollar short when it comes to legislation.

City Council members will have 11 pieces of legislation to consider. However, none of those items will be a third reading or are scheduled to be voted on as emergencies to be enacted immediately. Several of the items are finance related with one on the city’s Investment Policy, a payment to the Fire Demotion Fund, three regarding appropriations and two Then and Now certificates.

Also on the agenda are amendments to the Planning and Zoning Code and another to the Building and Zoning fee regarding meter base and hub. Other items include authorizing bids for the Southeast Storm Water Project and the Ohio Public Works Commission.
