CRESTLINE—The Crestline Exempted Village Schools held their monthly board of education meeting on Monday night.

The school is in need of a high school art teacher after approving the resignation of their current one, Kerry Greer. There is currently a long-term sub in the position, but superintendent Matt Henderson said it is imperative to find a new teacher because there are seniors who need fine arts credits to graduate.

Crestline also has positions for a preschool aide, a 1:1 aide, and a Fairway aide for four days a week.

The board will be looking to interview individuals to fill an empty seat on the board, being that Mrs. Sipes and Mrs. Anatra’s terms have ended. Kevin Sipes, elected in November, will fill one of those seats in January. The board will be releasing applications and will conduct interviews in January in hopes that the seat will be filled by the February meeting.

At the meeting, a service agreement between Mid-Ohio ESC and the Crestline Exempted Village School District for supplemental school psychology services for the period between September 14, 2021, through December 31, 2021.

Crestline’s organizational meeting will be on January 10 at 5 p.m., with the regular meeting to follow at 5:30 p.m.
