WILLARD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— A 26-year-old Murfreesboro, Tennessee, man was arrested after authorities said he allegedly solicited an 11-year-old Ohio child online and transported the child to Tennessee.
Dylan Osborne is accused of traveling to Willard, picking up the child and taking the child to his Murfreesboro residence, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
The investigation began after FBI agents in Cleveland notified Nashville-area authorities about Osborne’s alleged online communications with the child. Authorities said agents later observed Osborne making alleged sexual advances toward the child during surveillance.
Federal agents entered Osborne’s apartment and took him into custody. The child was safely recovered, police said.
Osborne faces a charge of rape of a child and was being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on $100,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 30, 2026.
Additional charges in Ohio and potential federal charges remain pending. The investigation involved the FBI offices in Cleveland and Nashville, along with the Murfreesboro Police Department.
