Bucyrus police keep busy with weekend arrests.
Thirty-two-year-old Jamie Lester and 19-year-old Natalee McIntyre were arrested at Walmart on charges of theft at 9:04 p.m. Oct. 20. Both individuals were issued a summons to appear in court and were released.
On Sunday, Oct. 19, 46-year-old Stephen R. Shelton was arrested by Bucyrus police in the area of East. St. and Hopley Ave. after a traffic stop. Police arrested Shelton on charges of operating a vehicle under a FRA suspension and possession of marijuana. Shelton was issued a traffic citation and a minor misdemeanor citation before being released with a pending court appearance.
A Bucyrus police officer arrested 29-year-old Shaun Hall at 9:54 p.m. Sunday at 1875 E. Mansfield St. on charges of theft and warrants out of Crawford County and the Shelby Police Department. Hall was issued a summons to appear in court for the theft charge and was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held on the warrants.
The Bucyrus Police Department cited Machalia D. Durfee for OVI after officers responded to a hit-skip accident in the area of Park Ave. and Woodland Ave. just before 1 a.m. Oct. 18. The vehicle that left the scene had struck a parked car. The offending vehicle was later located and towed and Durfee was located.
Bucyrus police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of N. Walnut St. nearly an hour later. A male reported being assaulted and the incident remains under investigation. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Michael Osborne had been arrested for underage consumption. He was issued a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance.
Bucyrus police also arrested Harold E. Routson of Bucyrus on Oct. 13 for a protection order violation. He was being held for court.
Geraldine Schwartz of Bucyrus was arrested for domestic violence on Oct. 11. Schwartz was being held for court.
Crestline police arrested Kyle A. Stiltner of Mansfield on Oct. 10 for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, sexual imposition, and contributing to minors. He was being held for court.
The following arrests were made on Oct. 7: The Crestline Police Department arrested Adam Dale Hagerty of Crestline for disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was to be held until sober and was released with a Crestline Mayor’s Court date. The Galion Police Department arrested Connie D. Carver of Galion for burglary. She was being held for court.
The following arrests were made on Oct. 6: The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph M. McDaniel of Mansfield for breaking and entering. He was being held for court. The Shelby Police Department arrested Cindy Mabe of Crestline on two counts of probation violation. She was being held for court.
