BUCYRUS—Chester Estep, 50, of Galion, pleaded guilty to the terms and conditions of his community control in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Monday.
Estep was placed on community control after he pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree punishable with up to 12 months in prison.
Estep pleaded guilty to moving without permission from his supervising officer, failed to report for office visits and when arrested, failed a urine drug test administered by the Crawford County Jail. He tested positive for meth and methamphetamines.
Crawford County Common Pleas Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Estep to a flat-six months in prison in a negotiated plea agreement. Estep will be given jail time credit. Judge Leuthold said he would not oppose transitional control if the prison requested it.
David Pasco, 23, of Forest, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree punishable with up to one year in prison.
In a negotiated plea agreement, Judge Leuthold sentenced Pasco to five years of community control.
