MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—If you’re looking for the perfect way to kick off Mother’s Day celebrations, a local market filled with small businesses, handmade goods, and unique finds is making its return.

The 2nd Annual Mother’s Day Market will take place Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Roseto Event Venue located in Mansfield at 23 N Main St.

Shoppers can expect a lively mix of more than 40 vendors from across Ohio, offering everything from flowers and baked goods to boutique items, jewelry, handmade goods, and more. The event will be held indoors, so guests can enjoy the day rain or shine.

Organizers say the event is designed to be a curated experience, with a strong focus on quality and variety.

“We’re very intentional about the vendors we select,” said organizer Lauren Hogsette. “We want it to feel welcoming, fun, and give people a chance to discover some really great small businesses.”

One of the highlights returning this year is the swag bag giveaway. The first 100 guests will receive a free bag filled with samples and goodies from participating vendors, a feature that was a big hit last year.

The market is open to anyone who enjoys shopping local, whether you’re looking for a Mother’s Day gift, planning a girls’ day out, or just wanting to get out and support small businesses.

This marks the second year for the event, which brought in around 500 guests in its first year. Based on that turnout, organizers said bringing it back was an easy decision.

“We love creating opportunities for small businesses to connect with the community,” Hogsette said. “There are so many great vendors, and this gives people a chance to find them all in one place.”

The event will once again be hosted at Roseto Event Venue, a downtown space that adds to the overall atmosphere of the market.

Admission is free, and no registration is required. Guests can stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., though coming early is encouraged as vendors may sell out of popular items.

Organizers also encourage the community to continue supporting downtown businesses despite ongoing construction in the area.
