Motorists who routinely drive U.S. 30 between Bucyrus and Mansfield may want to allow themselves some extra time traveling that stretch of road.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says that beginning Monday the highway will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction from the County Road 330 interchange and the West Fourth Street interchange for a resurfacing project. That work is expected to be complete sometime in October.
Other ongoing ODOT projects affecting local traffic include the Portland Way widening project in Galion; State Route 98 in Dallas Township north of State Route 294 which will be closed for a culvert replacement; and State Route 598 in Vernon Township north of State Route 96 which is closed for a bridge replacement.
