CRESTLINE — The Crestline Board of Education approved multiple contracts as the district prepares for the new school year.
Board members approved a tuition contract with Specialized Education of Ohio, Inc., DBA Center for Autism and Dyslexia to provide educational services to two Crestline students for the upcoming 2019-20 school year.
Crestline had one student go through the program and progressed well enough that the board members are comfortable with sending more students.
The next contract approved was a tuition agreement with the Wood County Educational Service Center to provide educational services to a Crestline student who is in the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center during the 2019-20 school year.
The final contract approved during the meeting was a service agreement with Succeed and Prosper Through Education: Ashland, Richland, Crawford and the Talent Development Group (SPARC Council) to provide a career coach for the district’s juniors and seniors during the coming school year.
The district will host its annual open house Monday, Aug. 19 from 6-7 p.m. with school beginning the next day, Aug. 20.
