Wednesday was not the best day for Crawford County golf teams.

The Buckeye Central boys’ golf team fell to Seneca East 168-190 at Cranberry Hills Golf Course. Seneca East’s Johnny Diehm and Lawren Willman both medaled at the match with 39.

Buckeye Central is 0-1 and Seneca East is 2-0 in N10 play. The Bucks’ next match is Aug. 22 at Cranberry Hills vs Upper Sandusky.

The Wynford (443), Buckeye Central (452), and Galion (481) girls golf teams placed seventh, 10th, and 11th, respectively, at the Seneca Hills Invite Tuesday. Ashland won the match with a team score of 327 while Shelby’s Alexis Jones medaled with a 73 after 18 holes.

Wynford’s next match will take place at home on Aug. 22 vs Bucyrus, Buckeye Central will travel to Elmwood on Aug. 18, and Galion return home for a match against Centerburg on Aug. 18.

The Galion boys’ varsity golf team defeated North Union 171-197 on Tuesday; the JV team also downed North Union 243-288. Individual scores for both varsity and JV Galion teams are as follows:
