North central Ohio again will be well represented at the OHSAA state track and field meet this weekend.
Events begin Friday and conclude Saturday at Jesse Owens Stadium on the Ohio State University campus.
Colonel Crawford girls won the team championship in the Division III regional at Heath. The Lady Eagles amassed 72 points to top Fairbanks (49), Dawson-Bryant (47) and Lucas (44).
It marked the second straight year that the Lady Eagles captured the team title.
In D-III meet at Fostoria, Carey finished 7th and Mohawk 33rd in girls. In boys the Warriors were 17th and Blue Devils 32nd.
Bucyrus girls finished 24th and Wynford 33rd. The Redmen boys were 17th and the Royals 39th.
In boys, Ashland Crestview took home team honors. Mount Gilead finished fourth, Northmor sixth, Crawford 12th, Bucyrus 17th and Crestline 46th.

· Miranda Stone (Galion, shot put, second, 41 feet, 11.25 inches). This was a school record and a personal record. Stone finished 10th in the discus.
