MANSFIELD (Crawford County Now) — Bucyrus dropped a tennis match to Mansfield Madison on Thursday, 4-1.
The lone victory for the Redmen came in second doubles where Brooklyn Ryland and Rielly Bolster defeated Claire Durbridge and Zaylynn Ball, 6-1, 4-6, 7-6.
In first singles, Landon Stone downed Mason Eldridge, 6-0, 6-0 and Taylor Steffey got by Will Kuhn, 7-5, 6-4 in second singles.
Trent Ford and Drew Kepple squeaked by Aubrie Kimmel and Reese Garvin, 7-6, 7-5, in first doubles. Meelah Marshall won the only junior varsity match, 6-0, 6-1.
Bucyrus (1-5) returns to action on Monday, hosting Fostoria.
