BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Saturday at 11:09 AM, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to emergency calls reporting a serious three-vehicle collision on US-30, located east of State Route 598.
Sheriff Scott M. Kent and Chief Deputy Filliater, along with deputies, promptly arrived at the scene, accompanied by emergency responders from the Crestline Fire Department, Galion Fire Department, and Jefferson Township Fire Department.
A female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while two male passengers from the same vehicle sustained serious injuries and are currently in critical condition.
Two juvenile males traveling with them suffered minor injuries, and the driver escaped without any injuries.
All injured individuals were transported to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
The other parties involved in the accident, who were in the two remaining vehicles, reported no injuries. Ronk’s Towing was called to the scene to assist, removing one vehicle, while the other involved vehicles were driven away without further incident.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the crash, with support from local fire departments. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
